TurnKey Explained

If you search online, you will find many different explanations for what a “Turn-Key” property entails.  When investing out of state it is important to make sure you are working with a reputable company that has your best interests in mind.  Part of the reason this company was established is to ensure our investors are not being taken advantage of, and that they are making sound real estate investments to set them up for financial success.

What is a Turn-Key Property:

Our expectation for a turn-key property is a home that has been fully remodeled from the floor to the roof and everything in-between.  This includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, bathroom, all interior, etc.

In addition to extensive rehab, there are many other working components to a turn-key property.  Licensed and professional property management is in place to screen tenants, take phone calls for repairs and handle the accounting.  There should be no land lording involved on the owner’s side.  All you should be concerned about is collecting checks each month.

Lastly, to ensure the success of a turn-key rental property we do extensive research throughout the U.S. to find the markets that offer the best combination of cash flow, equity & appreciation potential.  We choose to invest in markets that have stable economies along with a strong potential of growth.

RentToRetirement expects a turn-key property to be fully rehabbed, with professional management in place.  A tenant with a signed lease and the property is located in a growing economy.  This allows for the investor to maximize their potential for cash flow and long term wealth creation.  Enjoy all the benefits of real estate investing without all of the headache!
